When you eat a burger there are a number of points to note –
- Proper degree of cooking
- The crispiness of the bun
- Selection of sauces
- And Last but not least – delicious toppings inside and alongside the burger.
In order to create an event at the Burger Bar concept, we need to pay attention to each of these points, because those are basically the secret for a successful event.
The patty
First, we will need to buy delicious, high-quality (not frozen) meat. We personally go to the butcher shop and buy ready-made patties that are already seasoned with spices and parsley. We highly recommend it – it saves work and hassle and also attracts compliments.
In regards to cooking, of course, it is impossible to achieve a precise measure of it, but it’s important to make sure that the patty is placed in a preheated area. You can make the meat on a regular grill with charcoal, gas grill or on a pan with a little oil. In any case, make sure they are heated before starting to work on the patty.
When preparing the meat, it’s important to turn it several times while roasting. The meat should not be too long on the grill / pan because then it will come out dry and not tasty. A maximum of 5 minutes for a 200-220 grams patty. Anyone who loves to do it a bit below M should thicken the existing patty and lower the temperature a bit while roasting to get pinkish flesh on the inside. While roasting, it is important to turn the meat frequently to make sure that the liquid stays in the meat, making it more juicy and tasty.
The most important key rule – cook the meat last. Everything else should be ready – the toppings, salads and bun – everyone should wait for the meat.
Crispy bun
It is important that the bun is airy and uncompressed. A thick and dense bun creates a feeling of heaviness and we don’t want that. It is important to split the bun in half and roast it a little on the pan / grill before serving. This is how we ensure the sauces do not wet it quickly.
The buns can be bought at any supermarket or bakery, or prepared on your own with groceries in every home – flour, yeast, sugar, egg, oil, water, salt and sesame. A recommended recipe for about 16 buns can be found here.
Selecting sauces
The more sauces, the tastier! All that adds up is fine by us! You must be asking yourself – “which sauces should I change or invent?” Well… we have quite a few new ideas that will be a surprising addition to ketchup, mayonnaise, barbecue and mustard.
Spicy mayonnaise just like in restaurants – you always ask for spicy mayonnaise in restaurants? Believe it when we tell you that you can make it by yourself. You don’t need too much for this… Here are 2 easy options to prepare:
- 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, some lemon (not mandatory), and half a teaspoon of Sriracha sauce which is sold in food chains.
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of sweet / spicy chili and slightly crushed garlic (not required).
Choose one of the options, mix everything well and it’s ready!
Garlic Mayonnaise – Delicious, delicious, delicious and contains no eggs. We promise that once you make it you’ll prepare it again in the future, regardless of the burgers, the recipe is very simple and you only need to mix 2 ingredients well: 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, half a teaspoon to a teaspoon of crushed garlic (depending on the level you want to taste the taste of garlic).
Thousand islands – Mix in a small bowl – 1.5 tablespoons ketchup, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, a little salt and half a teaspoon of mustard (not required).

In addition, you can add on the bun – guacamole, chimichurri, olive tapenade, tabasco and sweet chili.
If you are preparing the sauces by yourself, you should buy pressing bottles that will be more convenient to put the sauce on the burger. Available in all Stoke stores and Ali Express – transparent sauce bottles and colored sauces.
Tasty extras
Inside the burger: Lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, fried onion and mushrooms, roasted pineapple, egg, smoked goose breast, roasted pepper, roasted jalapeño, and whatever your stomach craves.
Next to the burger:
- Potato fries that can be fried or baked
- Onion rings
- Onion bun – This is the addition we most like to order in Agadir and can be prepared alone. How do you prepare this? Click here for the recipe.
- Mashed potatoes – easy to make and really tasty: between 5 and 6 boiled potatoes until softened, peeled and crushed well. Put them in a bowl and add a tablespoon of salt, egg and 4 tablespoons of flour. Using a hand with a little oil, make patties, dip in egg (not required) then in breadcrumbs. When the patties are ready fry them in hot deep oil. Bon appetite!
- You can always add salads (vegetables, beans, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce) and toppings (pies, patties, etc.) – In our opinion too many of those things is unnecessary! So the party around burgers should concentrate on the concept. We tried for ourselves! We added so many ingredients and once we finished building the burger, the focus was not on the on them bur rather on the toppings, which was a shame.

To conclude, as you already understood, in order to create the perfect hamburger party, there are several steps and not just these four points mentioned above. So here are some more ideas and tips for the event:
- Most importantly is not to forget the guests, napkins and wipes should be available at any time because since they’re eating a proper burger J
